There's nothing worse than watching your child suffer or miss out due to food allergies. Before the global pandemic, I would say there's nothing more stressful than trying to navigate allergies (especially a combination of foods) without help and support. Based on the last two years, stress seems immeasurable, especially for parents!
When my son was diagnosed with a milk allergy, it was so hard to find resources on how to prepare foods and find items that were safe. This wasn't like starting a diet where mistakes or passes could be made. I found that good resources required paid subscriptions, there was nothing about how to do baked milk items, dairy-free recipes excluded eggs (he could have those)... and by the time we got pretty comfortable navigating on our own, the next allergy popped up!
Then, came the pea allergy! This excluded SO MANY dairy-free products and recipes.
Then, came the sugar impacts! Dairy free items without pea protein were all high in sugar and low in protein.
Then, came this website :)
